Overview

Aotearoa Food Rescue Association (AFRA) is a national network that supports and advocates for food rescue organisations, working to reduce food waste by redistributing surplus food to communities in need across Aotearoa.

The hui brought together Māori committee members, all of whom are food rescue leaders within their respective communities, to create a national Māori strategy in time for the National Food Rescue Conference.

The group selected Hina te Pō – Strategy, a full-day workshop that brought together strategy thinking while incorporating perspectives from across the organisation - from stakeholders through to the communities they serve.
