Overview

The New Zealand Council of Christian Social Services (NZCCSS) is a collective of faith-based social service agencies committed to social justice and wellbeing across Aotearoa. Over two days at Pipitea Marae, we brought together the Secretariat and Council to create space for deep reflection, connection, and strategic thinking.

Grounded in te ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the 2-day workshop supported NZCCSS to refine their values and explore how these can guide their future direction. The outcome was a brand-new 10-year Strategic Plan, including a revised vision, four guiding pou, and four strong values – laying a clear foundation for a values-led future.

The following year we met again at Ruapotaka Marae in Glen Innes, Auckland to bring the new CEO onboard with the strategy and to refresh the 12 month action plan.
