East Coast Leading from the Land is a collective working to support catchment groups across Te Tairāwhiti through strategy, collaboration, and environmental leadership. The Strategy Wānanga brought together their new steering committee to co-design a shared vision and strategic direction for supporting catchment mahi across the region. It created space for kōrero, reflection, and aligning on values, priorities, and governance approaches.
The group selected Ngā Ara Hina - Full Strategy Package, including four days of facilitated workshops spaced throughout the year, a professionally designed strategy, and new branding. The group is now known as Tairawhiti Catchment Communities.
