Ngā Puna Reo o Aotearoa (NPRA) is the national collective of kaupapa Māori early childhood centres, committed to advancing Māori language, culture, and identity through Puna Reo across the motu. The Strategy Wānanga brought the NPRA board together to shape the future of kaupapa Māori immersion in early years education. It created space for kōrero, sharing aspirations, and co-creating a strategic plan that reflects NPRA’s identity, vision, and values. By the end of the wānanga, the rōpū had shaped a clear and practical draft Strategic Plan, laying the groundwork for NPRA to move forward confidently and continue championing kaupapa Māori in early years education.
